"I’m an artist and LCSW based in Virginia. My passion for working with this condition started in 2010, when I witnessed one of my closest friends have their first psychotic episode. Much of my artwork stems from that experience. I have my own private practice in Virginia and work most of the week at a community mental health clinic. At the latter location, I run a weekly therapy group for persons served diagnosed with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders. It has been a beautiful experiencing helping clients with these diagnoses or a history of psychotic episodes find ways to love themselves and to broaden their world that is constricted by fear.
I’m excited to provide this webinar, and I hope you consider joining the 2-day webinar to expand your skills!"
